Program Manager
The Council on Competitiveness has an immediate opening for a Program Manager. The Program Manager will broadly assist in the development and execution of the Policy Team’s core initiatives addressing policies to promote innovative policy solutions to challenges in the areas of U.S. manufacturing, energy security and sustainability, technology innovation, education and workforce development, infrastructure, and global economic competitiveness. Duties include, but are not limited to assisting in the development, implementation, management, and production of the Council’s policy portfolio and products; research legislative issues as they pertain to the Council’s core initiatives and policy areas; and assist in the coordination and planning of Council meetings and events. The ideal candidate will have strong research, oral and written communications skills, demonstrated excellent organization skills, attention to detail and extreme comfort working under pressure and tight deadlines. Manager, Strategic Development and Membership Outreach
We are seeking a Manager, Strategic Development and Membership Outreach to support the Executive Department and the Senior Vice President - to help address Americas competitiveness challenges. The Manager, Strategic Development and Membership Outreach will gain invaluable experience as they become familiar with the inner workings of a non-profit organization/think tank and gain an opportunity to attend meetings with high-level attendees including C-suite leaders, university president, labor union leaders, national lab directors and senior public officials. Internships at the Council
We are always seeking bright, energetic, and enthusiastic students or recent graduates to help address America’s competitiveness challenges. Interns will gain invaluable experience as they become familiar with the inner workings of a non-profit organization/think tank and gain an opportunity to attend meetings with high-level attendees including Chief Executive Officers from U.S. companies and Chancellors of U.S. universities.
