Jennifer Carr

Jennifer Carr is the communications coordinator at the Council on Competitiveness. She is responsible for content development for Compete.org, the Compete newsletter, Competitiveness Watch e-bulletins and various Council publications. Carr provides support for membership recruitment and outreach, and assists each Council program with external communications. She also handles media relations and has assisted in obtaining media opportunities for the Council with the National Press Club, C-SPAN, The Economist, The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post.

Carr joined the Council in 2006 as the assistant to the vice president for communications and assumed her current position in March 2007. Prior to joining the Council, she wrote for the The Capital paper in Annapolis, MD.

Carr holds a Bachelor of Arts from the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland, College Park.
