Phillip Typaldos

Program Manager

Phillip Typaldos is a Program Manager for the Council on Competitiveness. Typaldos supports the Council’s Technology Leadership and Strategy Initiative (TLSI), which focuses on technology and national innovation policy, economic benchmarking and global innovation partnerships.

 

Typaldos joined the Council as an intern in the spring of 2011 and assumed his current position in August 2011. Prior to joining the Council Typaldos served as an intern in the Office of Management in the Executive Office of the President, where he gained invaluable experience as project manager for a software development project. Typaldos also interned with the Newark Downtown District: a not-for-profit economic development organization. There he Conceived and implemented a technologically innovative streetscape asset management system that was awarded for innovativeness by the International Downtown Association.

 

Typaldos is a graduate of Indiana University, Bloomington with a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. He gained proficiency in Spanish through abroad experience in Argentina, Mexico, and Spain.
