Public and private sector leaders from the United States and Sweden will convene on January 9th to discuss innovation as a competitive advantage in the global economy. The Leadership Through Innovation seminar, co-hosted by the U.S. Council on Competitiveness and the Embassy of Sweden, will provide industry and policy insight about the challenges and opportunities in the rapidly emerging, high-value, innovation-driven economy.
Speakers include Ewa Björling, Sweden's Minister for Trade, Ministry for Foreign Affairs; H.E. Jonas Hafström, Ambassador of Sweden to the United States; John Kao, Kao & Co, LLC and Author of Innovation Nation; Edward Knight, Executive Vice President/General Counsel/Chief Regulatory Officer, NASDAQ Stock Market; James Phillips, President and CEO, Luminetx Corporation; and Deborah Wince-Smith, President, Council on Competitiveness.
