Compete: Technology 

The Technology, Leadership and Strategy Initiative is co-chaired by:

  • Dr. Klaus Hoehn, Vice President of Advanced Technology and Engineering for Deere & Company

 

  • Dr. Ray Johnson, Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Lockheed Martin Corporation

  

  • Dr. Mark M. Little, Senior Vice President and Director of Global Research for the General Electric Company

 

Additionally, TLSI operates four Working Groups:

  • Accelerating Innovation Working Group: aims to improve the movement of ideas from laboratory to market

 

  • Regulation and Policy Working Group: aims to establish more coherent federal laws and regulations that make commercialization less expensive, better incentivized and more strategic

 

  • Talent Working Group: aims to develop, attract and retain world class scientific and technical talent for the United States

 

  • Innovation Outreach Working Group: aims to "tell the innovation story" more effectively to key audiences, particularly policymakers, students and the American public
