Video: it’s time to compete
The United States, and the world, are facing an energy situation that gets more dire every day. U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon said that climate change is "the greatest collective challenge we face."
But this problem isn’t new. For years, we’ve known that our practices weren’t sustainable and that we needed to change. But while information has circled through the ether, contradictory stories and lack of communication meant that we couldn’t move forward. Everyone was talking, but no one was listening.
That’s all changing. The National Energy Summit is bringing together leaders in business, government, and science to make decisions on how to address the challenge of sustainability while staying economically competitive. America is ready to face the challenges on energy.
