Summit Alert: George David Joins Speaker Lineup
Chairman of United Technologies to Take Part in Leadership Dialogue
George David, Chairman of United Technologies Corporation (UTC) is the latest speaker to join the National Energy Summit & International Dialogue, September 23, in Washington, DC.
David will take part in a leadership dialogue -- moderated by Newsweek Chairman Richard Smith -- entitled, "Setting the Global Bar for Energy Efficiency." Joining him in this conversation will be World Resources President, Jonathan Lash, and FedEx Corporation Chairman, President and CEO, Fred Smith.
UTC has been named to the Dow Jones Sustainability Index each year since the index was launched in 1999 and named among the 100 Most Sustainable Companies in the World at the Davos World Economic Forum also since inception. UTC is co-chairing the World Business Council for Sustainable Development's Energy Efficiency in Buildings project, which recently released a roadmap to significantly reduce energy use in buildings in six representative regions of the world.
The National Energy Summit & International Dialogue will feature two days of high-level, outcome-based dialogues focused on addressing specific steps to drive competitiveness and prosperity through sustainable energy.
