Andrew Taylor Will Discuss Energy Infrastructure
Andrew Taylor, Chairman and CEO of Enterprise Holdings, will discuss the building out of advanced energy infrastructure at the National Energy Summit & International Dialogue, September 23, in Washington, DC.
Taylor will take part in a leadership dialogue, moderated by Newsweek's National Economic Correspondent Michael Hirsh, entitled "Clearing Obstacles to a National Transmission Superhighway." The panel will include: Dr. Richard H. Herman, Chancellor, University of Illinois; Ralph Izzo, Chairman, President and CEO, Public Service Enterprise Group Incorporated; and Joseph L. Welch, Chairman, President and CEO, ITC Holdings Corp.
Taylor has been in the automotive business for over forty years and has served as the Enterprise Rent-A-Car CEO for nearly two decades. During that time, Taylor has expanded the organization to become the largest rental car company in North America with nearly 8,000 locations worldwide. The Taylor family acquired the National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car businesses in 2007. He has also maintained Enterprise's reputation for corporate responsibility through a sustainability initiative and generous philanthropy.
