Economist Online Debate Features Council SVP
Proposition: “The competitiveness of workers in today’s rich countries is in permanent decline.”
Council on Competitiveness senior vice president for thought leadership, Debbie van Opstal, will be featured as a guest participant in The Economist online debate “Workforce Talent 2020.”
The debate will examine if the competitiveness of today’s workers in wealthy countries is in the decline. Van Opstal’s piece, which will be posted July 9, will discuss what the United States must do to enable American workers to compete in the global economy.
The forum will begin on July 8 and extend until July 18.
