Council Member Michael Splinter Highlights Race for Clean Energy Jobs During NPR’s “On Point”

Two weeks after his company was named by Tom Friedman as the "one of the most important U.S. companies you’ve probably never heard of," Applied Materials Inc. Chairman and CEO Michael Splinter was on NPR's "On Point" talking renewable energy. Splinter asserted that clean technology is starting to reach the appropriate scale and it is time for the U.S. to get in the game. "A huge number of jobs are going to be created," he said regarding the global push for clean energy, "it's just where those jobs are going to be created, that's where the race is."
