Council Featured in Newsweek Column on Clean Energy

Newsweek Technology Editor Dan Lyons published a column this week highlighting the urgency for clean technology innovation in the United States. "Alternative energy is the next tidal wave in tech innovation," Lyons wrote. "If we miss it, we will not only weaken our economy and harm our national security—we will turn ourselves into a second-rate nation." 

Lyons moderated a panel focused on the importance of technological breakthroughs with industry leaders Thomas Baruch, Ralph Cicerone, John Holdren, and George Miller at the Council's National Energy Summit & International Dialogue in late September.
