Council Member James Phillips Helps U.S. Navy Improve Energy Efficiency, Durability

NanoMech Receives Navy Contract to Develop Unique Technology

NanoMech, LLC has been awarded a contract from the Office of Naval Research to complete development of a new, nanostructured lubricant additive called NanoGlide®. The technology aims to increase durability and improve energy efficiency of naval products and systems.

"NanoMech represents the type of high-tech manufacturing and product development that can increase top-paying jobs in the State of Arkansas, evidenced by this important contract with the U.S. Navy," said James M. Phillips, Chairman of NanoMech and executive committee member of the Council on Competitiveness.
