Michael Splinter, Industry Vice Chair at the Council on Competitiveness, and Chairman, President and CEO of Applied Materials, discussed a wide range of business issues during CNBC's Squawk Box earlier this week.
Splinter pointed to job creation as the most important ingredient to a strong economic recovery. "We have to be thinking about how we are going to create jobs in this country," Splinter said.
