Leaders from Business, Academia Convene to Discuss America’s Infrastructure Needs
"Out of the Blue Dialogue" Series Stops in Chattanooga
June 23, 2011
The Council on Competitiveness' "Out of the Blue Dialogue" series, which addresses specific issues hindering U.S. manufacturing, stopped in Chattanooga last week to discuss America's infrastructure challenges. The meeting was hosted by Alstom and The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
According to many manufacturing executives, the United States needs to demonstrate greater leadership in building a 21st century world class manufacturing business and transportation infrastructure to reinvigorate the domestic economy and compete effectively.
