The World Affairs Councils of America (WACA), the largest national non-partisan network of local councils dedicated to educating the American public on global issues, recently held its flagship 2011 National Conference, U.S. National Security: Six Top Issues for the 2012 Election. Held at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C. on November 2-4. Deborah L. Wince-Smith, President & CEO of the Council on Competitiveness joined Lawrence B. Lindsey, former Director of the National Economic Council, and Donald Kohn, former Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, on a panel moderated by Alan Murray from the Wall Street Journal on U.S. Economic Competitiveness.

The panel was inspirational for many, including WACA President and CEO Dr. Lori E. Murray. Click here to read Dr. Murray's Huffington Post article entitled The "Foreign Policy" Debate.
