Council Vice President Delivers Keynote at APEC Symposium

In August, Randall Kempner, Council on Competitiveness vice president of regional innovation, traveled to Singapore to deliver the keynote address at the Asian-Pacific Economic Cooperation Symposium, Developing Effective Public-Private Partnerships: Meeting the Needs of the 21st Century Global Workforce.
Kempner joined a delegation from the U.S. Department of Labor, led by Douglas Small, deputy assistant secretary for employment and training. At the two-day conference, Kempner shared his presentation on public-private partnerships in U.S. economic and workforce development with 45 APEC delegates from 17 different countries.
