Council Vice Chair Calls for Obama to Act on Energy in the First 100 Days
December 10, 2008
Scientific American Earth 3.0 magazine features a column by Dr. Shirley Ann Jackson, vice chair of the Council on Competitiveness and president of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, calling on President-elect Obama to take bold steps, right away, to tackle the nation's energy challenge. The piece draws heavily on the recommendations in the Council’s 100-Day Energy Action Plan that was issued in September.
Jackson is also the co-chair of the Council’s Energy Security, Innovation & Sustainability (ESIS) Initiative.
