Harvard Business School’s Michael Porter, founding member of the Council on Competitiveness, appeared on PBS’s Charlie Rose on December 16th, 2008, to discuss America’s need for a long-term economic strategy and why U.S. competitiveness is at risk. Porter, ranked “the most important business thinker in the world” by the Times of London, is a leading voice on American competitiveness.
During the program, Porter references the Council’s Competitiveness Index, which he has lead for 20 years. The Competitiveness Index measures America’s economic standing in the global economy and is the gold standard in benchmarking. Watch this important video with one of America’s great thought leaders.
