Huffington Post Credits Council for Movement on Clean Energy Bank

Clean Energy Bank is essential to investing in long-term growth

July 02, 2009

In a story on the Huffington Post, law professor Michael Likosky writes about the 100-Day Energy Action Plan for the 44th President of the United States (PDF), created by the Council on Competitiveness and Energy Secretary and Nobel Prize winner Steven Chu. The Action Plan proposed that a National Clean Energy Bank be created, and a version of Chu and the Council's vision is in the American Clean Energy and Security Act currently in Congress. According to Likosky, "The Clean Energy Bank is essential to deliver on President Obama's mandate to 'make sure that we are investing in what's required for long term growth.'"
