Ray LaHood Will Speak at Summit

The Honorable Ray LaHood, US Secretary of Transportation, will deliver the keynote address on the first day of the National Energy Summit & International Dialogue, September 23, in Washington, DC.
Secretary LaHood was nominated to be the 16th Secretary of Transportation on January 23, 2009. Prior to his nomination, LaHood served for 14 years in the U.S. House of Representatives from the 18th District of Illinois, working on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and the House Appropriations Committee.
The National Energy Summit & International Dialogue will feature two days of high-level, outcome-based dialogues focused on addressing specific steps to drive energy security, competitiveness and prosperity through sustainable energy.
