Summit Alert: Commerce Secretary Locke to Keynote Day Two of Summit

U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gary Locke will provide the keynote address at the Council on Competitiveness' National Energy Summit & International Dialogue, September 24, in Washington, DC.

Secretary Locke is the 36th Secretary of Commerce and the first Chinese-American to hold the office. His experience includes two terms as the governor of Washington where he is credited with boosting the state's exports to international markets. Locke also launched Washington's Competitiveness Council with business and labor leaders working together to effectively position Washington State for success at home and around the world.

The National Energy Summit & International Dialogue will feature two days of high-level, outcome-based dialogues focused on addressing specific steps to drive competitiveness and prosperity through secure and sustainable energy.
