    The Council on Competitiveness performed the first-ever comprehensive study of independent software vendors (ISVs) serving the high performance computing (HPC) market in 2005. Part B of this two-part study is a survey of industrial end users or buyers of HPC systems, and it explores their views and concerns about ISV application software and other barriers to using HPC more aggressively for competitive advantage.
